A detailed look at my current desk setup and the gear I use every day for UI/UX design.

As a UI/UX Designer, having a comfortable and productive desk setup is essential for focus, creativity, and long working hours. Here's a detailed look at my current setup and the gear I use every day.

First Monitor: Gigabyte G27Q 2K IPS

This is my primary monitor for design work. The Gigabyte G27Q features a 27-inch 2K IPS display with vibrant color accuracy, perfect for Figma and design reviews. The extra resolution gives me more screen real estate to multitask without sacrificing sharpness.

Second Monitor: LG 29" 29WQ600 IPS FHD

For multitasking, I pair my main screen with this LG 29-inch ultra-wide monitor. It's great for keeping Slack, Jira, browser tabs, and references on the side. The ultra-wide aspect ratio really improves my workflow.

Mouse & Mouse Pad

Mouse & Mouse Pad

Mouse: Razer DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed

Reliable, wireless, and ergonomically comfortable. This Razer DeathAdder offers great precision for design tasks and casual gaming too. The battery life is surprisingly long-lasting.

Mousepad: Pulsar ParaControl Black XL

Heavily textured unique surface design combines the benefits of both a soft pad and a hard pad. You get super precise targeting for absolute in-game accuracy. Experience a fast glide but with excellent stopping power.

Mousepad: Pulsar Paraglide Orange XL

Tightly and accurately woven ultrafine microfiber cloth provides greater stopping power than any cloth pads. Ideal to use with superglide feet or ultralight weight mice. Very easy to perform micro control and sudden stops.

IEM: ND Venus (Blue Colour)

I use these ND Venus IEMs for daily music listening and casual calls. They're comfortable for long hours and sound great without needing bulky headphones, which is important because I have sensitive ears.

Keyboard

Keyboard

Keyboard: RK84 Brown Switch

The RK84 with brown switches strikes the perfect balance between tactile feedback and noise level. It’s wireless and compact, but still super comfortable for typing during long design sessions or documentation writing.

First Monitor Arm: North Bayou F80

This North Bayou F80 arm holds my main monitor, giving me flexibility in angle adjustment and freeing up space on my desk. Smooth movement and very sturdy.

Second Monitor Arm: North Bayou H100

Paired with my second monitor, the H100 helps me keep a clean and ergonomic setup. Having both monitors on arms makes it easy to reposition depending on what I’m doing.

Microphone: Moano DGM20S

For calls, meetings, or recording — the Moano DGM20S offers clear sound with built-in RGB that adds personality to the setup.

Mic Boom Arm: Ulanzi LS26

This Ulanzi LS26 boom arm is sturdy, flexible, and easy to adjust during meetings or when I’m not using the mic. Clean cable management too!

Table Size: 150cm x 75cm

My desk is 150cm wide and 75cm deep — a comfortable size for dual monitors, accessories, and still having space to write or sketch on paper when needed.

Chair: YISONG W901

Ergonomic support matters. The YISONG W901 is affordable but surprisingly comfortable for long sessions. The back support and adjustable height keep my posture in check.

Arm Sleeve: Rockbros Ice Silk Sleeve

To reduce friction while using the mouse and keyboard, I wear the Rockbros Ice Silk Sleeve. It also helps keep my arm cool during long hours.

Lamp Behind Monitor: LED T5 Tube

A subtle yet functional touch — this LED T5 Tube light behind the monitor gives ambient lighting to reduce eye strain during late-night work sessions.
